You can begin creating visual and shopping guides from your mood board. 

Color sets the tone for any room. It can make a space feel warm, inviting, calm, serene, or bold and energetic. Accessories like rugs, collectibles, and artwork not only add visual interest but can add more layers to your color story. Balance bold colors with more subdued hues to maintain harmony.

Textures and patterns add depth and interest to a room. Mix and match different fabrics like cotton, linen, wool, and velvet to create a cozy and dynamic space. Patterns can inject personality into a room, whether in wallpapers, textiles, or accessories. Stripes, florals, geometric shapes, and abstract designs can all coexist if balanced correctly. The key is to find a common color palette to tie everything together.

Furniture is both functional and aesthetic. Choose pieces that suit your lifestyle and fit the scale of your room. Avoid overcrowding; instead, opt for a few statement pieces that stand out. Accessories are the finishing touches that bring a room to life.  Lighting is crucial in creating ambiance; use a mix of overhead, floor, wall sconces, and table lamps to achieve the desired effect. Artwork and photographs add character and can be easily changed to refresh the look. Plants beautify a space and bring a touch of nature indoors.

While filling every corner with decor is tempting, sometimes less is more. Embrace minimalism by focusing on quality over quantity. A few well-chosen pieces can make a stronger impact than a cluttered room. This approach also makes your space easier to clean and maintain.

If you want to feel pampered and create your own spa experience at home, there is nothing better than the skin care and fragrances sold by L'Occitane en Provence. I currently use the Immortelle Divine product line and the Immortelle Precious Cleansing Foam daily.     

The Aveda skincare line, similar to the haircare line, is a go-to alternative when waiting for my L'Occitane en Provence order to be delivered. It is mild and feels light on the skin but has intense moisturizing ability. 

I cannot recommend more, the use of the Aveda line of hair care products. My hair was dry, damaged, and dull. After a few months of using the Aveda products recommended by my stylist, my hair is healthy, shiny, and has no breakage. I had been coloring my hair for years and since switching to an Aveda hair salon and coloring products, damaged hair is a thing of the past. I am often complimented on my hair!        

I love beauty products and have for as long as I can remember!  My grandmother was a cosmetologist and taught me to apply make-up when I was too young to wear it.  I spent hours practicing lip, eye, and foundation product application so that when my mom allowed me to wear it in public, I would be a pro.  

I currently use Dior cosmetics. The foundation is fantastic. The color-matching service I received while shopping at Sephora assisted me in identifying the perfect match for my skin tone.  What sold me is how the great coverage is accomplished without feeling heavy and it lasts all day!     

Mascara:  It is so hard to find a great mascara that glides on without clumping and/or flaking during the day. I am still searching for the holy grail of mascaras! But surprisingly, I keep reaching for a tried and true option that has been around forever, and is inexpensive. Maybelline's ... Because of the lower cost, I can easily discard a tube that is getting gummy or dry, replace it with a fresh tube, and no guilt! 

Lip and Eye Liners: I am currently using the Dior lip and eyeliners. However, I also think the Aveda lip liners,,  and Smashbox Always Sharp 3D Liners are a great addition to any pencil collection.    

Eye Make-Up Remover: Hands down, Neutrogena has the BEST eye make-up remover!

Masks: I like the flagship product from the Nerium skincare line. The  Night Cream will amaze you with results that make your skin glow and look years younger with only a few uses.  The Day Cream is light and feels natural under makeup. This is a product line I go back to time and time again.  

Feeling comfortable in your skin is a superpower! Dressing your skin in something that makes you feel beautiful and amazing makes you unstoppable! Your closet is the new Superhero's phone booth.
